Hey everyone, I know we’ve had quite a few start and stops this year and I promise we’re the first to be bummed about it. It’s been a wild year of growth and learning lessons for us. Matt, Ammar, Tommy and I have never closer however. We’ve spent a lot of time working on our relationship and planning what direction we want to go in the future. We all feel super excited and reenergized about this new chapter and we’re happy you’re along with us. We’ll be back with a fresh start in November and are excited to see where the future will take us ❤️ Have an amazing day everyone ✌️

Thomas discovered his life was becoming out of balance. Just like if you work, travel or doing anything most the time you come to the realization how much you miss home, family, friends and your local culture. When you attempt to live a more balanced life it feels right, you feel more fulfilled, mentally re-energized, and the void becomes filled. As you mentioned if you become unbalanced the other way you feel another void being created and your passion and desire to make videos, help others, or do whatever you find rewarding and fulfilling needs to be filled. Glad you were able to share this with us and hopefully others can benefit from understanding the importance of spending time with family before the opportunity is no longer there and regret sets in.

New to yes theory, and I'm absolutely loving the channel. However one thing bugs me for some reason. Why does Thomas have a North American accent, when he is french/ Swedish and lives in the USA on a visa?

Oooo that thing about time with family made me sad, because i just moved away again after spending 8 months of lockdown with my parents. Im doing whats best for me (more opportunity where I am now, and im seeking discomfort with a new adventure)...but oh man, that made me miss them. Will be facetiming my family more often!

It seems america response to pandemic is let everybody get it and whose weak die. I feel scared. I'm high risk. They've made everything about money and if you don't have any you can't even get medicine you need. I don't know where love went in america. I don't know where love Is. It's like it's missing.
Doris ReynoldsUukausi sitten
I'm jealous I'm terrified of living in America any more. People don't care about each other like they use to, we are in a pandemic and people act like they don't want to help you get medicine to survive the pandemic. Love seems to be missing in America. Love.

Really wish I had enough money to go back to my country but I’m the provider of my family so had to make the sacrifice to move away and provide for them. It really sucks!!! But looking they’re good because of your help, it makes it worth it.

while you are living in Europe, if you can manage you should visit Bulgaria on the 7th January (the day of religiously celebrating the name Jordan - fact ;fititle.info/one/videot/lXrMormBhat1maw.html) - in the town called Kalofer the guys dance traditional dances and play bagpipes in a frozen river for good health and for praising the traditional roots of religious beliefs - there is a river called Jordan that is very sacred for every person who has faith, basically. It is a rite of passage for men in here to do that - you become one by the discomfort of getting in the frozen water even though it feels like crap. Our grandfatehrs have all done that to be accepted as men and to be able to find a good wife. Today it is not mandatory, but i think it still helps in the same ways haha. And the saying is that this makes the men able to have strong and healthy babies afterwards :) so there are benefits. If you feel like getting to know the complicated Balkans culture, go there. But it is not very comfortable in the Balkans region... Good luck!
el pas.2 kuukautta sitten
day-to-day life is much more uncomfortable and exhausting than adventure lifestyles. That is the problem for many people around the world - getting too comfortable to dare live a better life and just continuing old patterns. you can not find that in traditional Bulgarian culture. it is so rebellious and out of comfort that you should just live it to believe. Thracian culture has become mythical because it is hard to believe :) Oh, on that note - Nikola Tesla is originally from Serbia. And Serbia is a very wild place too - the energy there is overwhelming. Overall the Balkans are where the Thracian civilization did what they did, and now it is full of energy of innovation. the sad thing about this is in modern days the fake comfort of a systematic way of life prevents people to live according the old traditions and you will hardly find many people that are as wild as Nikola Tesla today. But you can try - it is sad to visit here because all of the excitement and pride the people of the region have is darkened by years of genocides and slavery on part of the Turks here, so people are very stressed and are not really themselves. It feels unsafe for them to organize the rituals that are inherent in their cultures - the ice river dancing, the walking on burning coal in summer, and other peculiar stuff like that. It is fun in Europe, but it can be a struggle emotionally living here if you are on the fringes (Eastern Europe);; anyway, have a good stay
Richard2 kuukautta sitten
Wow. I been feeling the same way. With the political climate I been feeling less at home and I feel to move back to the Philippines to reconnect with my culture. I realized this year that i really don’t know my culture and my home country and want to reconnect.
Lena Lukas2 kuukautta sitten
3 minutes in and I am crying about having spent already spent 80-90% of the physical time I have with my parents with them. I see my parents about about 2-3 weeks a year because I live in a different state than them but have long holidays bc I am a student. That number will shrink down drastically when I start working and that makes me so sad. Maybe I need to move closer to them again instead of looking for work here next year.

This year was all about change! We either grow with it or get left behind... I definitely feel it ... I’ve been so lost a depressed this year more than I’ve ever have been ... and I just really think it is time to get back to the simple things in life. No phones 6-10 am and I’ve deleted most social accounts except FB since it’s mostly family. And since this change I have felt better! Now less tv/FItitle time and back to cooking more regular meals are the next milestones to meet 👍🏼😂

Wow, an video with an important update, that actually gets right to the point. Most of the videos, such as ones about leaving a FItitler group, take like 15 minutes to get to the point, and aren't very clear about it.

I think it’s a wonderful idea. Happy you made this decision, I have no birth family left who haven’t disowned me, except my Granma. I just got married and in that moment saying I do, I realised I have an amazing chosen family. I’m so grateful. This year has brought change that’s been needed, except people’s health is worrying. I have an autoimmune disease and chronic pain so I’m basically always at home, mostly with my eldest son and middle son. But I love my family and hope I can do great things from my home. Good luck! Always listen to your heart.

Congrats to you Thomas! I'll be honest, I'm pretty disappointed in Yes Theory because I, like many, thought that Yes Theory would stay out of the political scene ("Yes Theory" group not personal). In this video you talk about peace, which is great and why I followed you guys from the beginning but yet, Yes Theory posted themselves partying in the streets with thousands of people when Biden "won". That was disappointing. I'm hoping you guys remain true to Yes Theory and promote peace and unity by not allowing things to separate us, such as politics.
Strawberry3 kuukautta sitten
Them being happy over Biden winning isn’t promoting separating people. It’s simply just going “nice, the person I voted for won :)”.

I honestly wish my home land was not America, I want to leave because everything here makes me so uncomfortable how our government is handling things. Even alot of American citizens are out of control with not staying home and going out in public w/o masks. I would love to travel the world and seek for a better alternative for all on our planet. I just want to grow my knowledge outside of these American borders. Unfortunately, I am one working as a delivery driver to feed and provide for ones that are terrified to leave their homes or cant to get what they need. Someone with a heart condition that this virus could kill I am not allowed to stay home. I have bills and a house to pay for it's awful that I have to put others and myself at risk to make my bills. Please stay safe my friend and always do what you feel is your best path to take, goes for all.

I just found the Yes Theory channel a couple of days ago and I've been binge watching all videos but this one really got me. I have been experiencing a somewhat similar dilemma as Thomas for some time now. I have an amazing life and an amazing corporate job but I do not feel fulfilled, something is missing. In January of 2020, I though of quiting my job and simply travel but I think I got scared for being away from my family and uncertainty prevented me from doing it. Nowadays I feel glad I didn't do it because covid would ruin all the plans but I know that when things go back to normal, I will start to feel like that again. I was fortunate enough to visit 28 countries during my life but there is something about traveling and experiencing new places that I do not find elsewhere. It's hard to explain what makes me feel this but oh well, I guess I have to learn how to deal with it and just be grateful for everything. This was also my first ever comment on FItitle and what a way to start, speaking my heart out 😅
